Over the last 8 seasons we have seen this team grow exponentially for the positive. This growth was not obtained without our share of bruises, setbacks, and minor struggles but none the less, it was obtained. Since I began the journey of coaching the Ospreys we have endured a 1 win season, a 2 win season, a relegation within WAGS, players leaving (some coming back), and the addition of new players and assistant coaches. That is a lot to handle for such a small club but it was handled and done so with class and eventual success. In the last 5 seasons we made it to D3 only to be relegated to D4, then moved up all the way to D1 in the past 4 seasons. That is quite impressive ladies. You and your parents should be proud, very proud.
During this period not only has our individual skills improved but more importantly the maturity and chemistry of the team has also grown. It is because of where we are today and how we got here that I feel very confident with the future of this team. As discussed at last week’s team meeting, with great sadness, I will be stepping down as coach of the Ospreys. I personally feel it is the right time for several reasons but most importantly because of the hands I will be leaving this team with, Coach Amber Cook and Coach Rob who will continue in the same capacity he has for the last 3 seasons.
In this next phase of your travel soccer journey you will be guided by not only a tremendous soccer player with an exceptional soccer IQ, but Amber is also an exceptional person that's number one priority is to enhance your soccer growth through discipline and hard work while also helping you to grow as a person. You all are very blessed to have Amber step into this role and I know you will only continue in the direction we are heading right now, to the top.
I do thank you all for the years of joy I have had coaching you and only hope you have enjoyed it as much as I have.

Tryouts are June 3rd at Chancellors Run and June 10th at Chaptico Park arrive between 530 and 6 to register then stretch, tryouts begin at 630 pm promptly
All participants must complete registration prior to arrival. The website link is –
Each player will be provided a numbered tryout pennie for use as part of the tryout and will be given to the player at the check in process following receipt of a completed tryout registration form including date of birth, parent signature and the tryout fee. This pennie must be worn to all tryout sessions, however, the player CANNOT take it home. It is NOT the property of the player. If a player loses the pennie, a fee of $35 will be assessed.
Players need to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled tryout start time and are responsible for bringing the following to each tryout:
a. Appropriate athletic attire and footwear. (No zippers on clothing, shorts in particular.)
b. A ball (size 4 U9-U12, size 5 all others), marked with the player’s name in indelible marker and properly inflated.
c. Shin guards (required, players will not be allowed to tryout without them).
d. Personal water.
e. No current travel team or ODP apparel is allowed.

Due to several changes on the website and future modifications happening on the website, David is having to remove all current users and everyone will need to recreate a new user ID.
